CRAFTINESS: Double Rainbow…all the way.

I was inspired by this YouTube video to create a double rainbow birthday party for my little double rainbows. I then found a lot of party ideas via Pintrest. I will have more to say about Pintrest in another post. 

Oscar asked for a Buzz Lightyear cake… we were celebrating all three birthdays at the same time and somehow the rainbow and Toy Story themes blended nicely. So, here is what I came up with. 

Rainbow Bunting. Felt + Binding Tape!

Double Rainbow Shirts. All I can say is thank goodness for Wonder Under!

Double Rainbow Birthday Cakes! + Buzz Lightyear Cake!

The outside was not pretty (I tried my best with the M&M’s)… but look at the lovely inside!  

Rainbow Food! Fruit, easy. The veggie tray was a bit more challenging… we couldn’t find anything purple! 

It all came together pretty well! Their was also a cute treat in the gift bag. I didn’t get a picture of that… rainbow Twizzlers + chocolate gold coins = pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in a bag. Cute!
