Oscar and The Chickens.

Our neighbor has 4 chickens. Last week she left for a vacation and asked if Oscar would help take care of her chickens while she was gone. He was very excited about this responsibility. Starting last Friday he goes over at least once a day, checks for eggs, checks on their food and water, and plays with them for a few minutes. We have gotten at least 3 eggs everyday! They are so fresh and delicious. Taking care of the chickens is amazingly low maintenance.  We are really going to miss taking care of them and having the eggs once our neighbor returns. Hopefully we will have some urban chickens of our very own someday.
